The people of our town have become so greedy. Out of their greed, they have built these modern buildings but trees too have equal importance.

Buildings do not give us air to breathe, resins, medicinal leaves, paper, etc. One day will come when the planners of this town will realize their mistake.

V. Writing skills

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, prepare a speech to be delivered in the morning assembly on the topic ‘Save trees, Save Life’

Speech

Good morning respected teachers, Principal mam, and dear friends. Today I am here to talk about an important topic, Save Trees, Save life. Trees are the lungs of our planet. Just like human lungs, they are also crucial for our survival. Humans have greedy and have destroyed the beauty of mother Earth.

Nowadays, cutting trees and grasslands has become very common. Every day you keep hearing news about the clearing of forest cover and building factories, and societies, malls, and other urban development.

Trees and forests are home to various bird and animal species. We should realize that we are not the sole owners of this planet. Animals have equal rights to enjoy life on this planet. Why don’t we realize that the clearing of trees displaces them from their natural habitats? They are forced to move towards cities and other habitats.

Let us talk about the things that we get from trees. Trees provide shelter, food, medicinal leaves, herbs, cotton, paper, wood for furniture, and many other things.

Let us pledge to realize their importance before mother nature gets irated. Let us all take a pledge to plant more and more trees, let us all do something to prevent the cutting of trees. If we all collaborate in this noble cause we can again bring back the beauty of our planet.
