II HOTS

What should be our priority- our personal growth or our motherland’s growth? Why?

We should focus on our growth as well as work for the growth of our motherland. We ought to serve our nation too. To help in the growth one can help the poor section of the society by teaching their children, offering them free food and health care facilities.

If you are a teacher then you can start a free batch for such backward students. If you are a doctor then you can run a free camp time to time to help financially backwards sections of the society.

We have to pay attention to the growth of both motherland and our own growth because if everyone becomes selfish how can we expect the motherland to flourish.

III Life Skills

Some children of your class often speaks about going abroad for further studies and their plans to settle there. You strongly feel that one should stay in their country. How will you help them to see your point of view?

Ans

Everyone wishes to enjoy a comfortable and luxurious life after completing their studies. Going abroad is a dream of many students. I agree that foregin countries offer a good package, highr standard of living, and many other perks but we should also think about our nation. We were born in this land, we started our initial education in this land, we enjoyed a happy childhood and what not! So, it becomes our duty to serve our nation.

If all the talented people of our country keeps moving to other countries how will our own nation progress. Brain drain has been happening from a very long time.

I will make them realize that they owe to the land in which they were born. I will help them realize that if they have talent and the will power they can grow even in their own nation. India has a lot of opportunities for skilled people. Infact, the tech giants Facebook and Amazon, India is one of the largest audience network in their business and they make a huge amount of revenue from India alone.

I will give them examples of personalities who chose to stay in their nation and todya they are on the zenith. This will motivate them to get inspired from them.

B.Why is it important to leanr scriptures as well as sciences?

It is crucial to learn both scriptures and sciences because both have equal importance in one’s life. The first one will help us to know more about the rich culture and history of India. It will helps us gain more knowledge. We will learn moral values and try to become a good person.

Science is also important as it will help us to keep abreast with the modern technology and developments. We need to stay advanced in life. Science helps a nation to grow. We can choose any of the sub field of science be it computer science, chemistry or physics and should master it.

This way we can witness our nation prospering and reaching more heights. Our nation will get more appreciation and recognition in the world.
