Question 1: Why did Daddy want to be a night watchman?
Ans 1: Daddy wanted to become a night watchman because he used to think that he could be awake when the whole town sleeps. He enjoyed the idea of shouting and making noise when everyone was sleeping.
Question 2: What was Daddy’s plea in favour of becoming an ice-cream seller? How did his parents react to it?
Ans 2: One day Daddy saw a man pulling a green cart of ice cream. Then he started thinking to become an ice-cream seller. He loved that he would be able to pull the cart, and the idea of eating a lot of ice cream excited him. He thought that he will give free ice creams to children.
His parents were surprised at his dream of becoming an ice cream seller. It was funny for them.
Question 3: What efforts did Daddy put in to be a dog?
Daddy decided to become a dog and he put a lot of effort to do everything that a dog does. The whole day he kept running here and there on his hands and legs. He learned how to bark and also tried to bark an old lady when she tried to pat her head. He also tried very hard to learn how to scratch behind his ears but could not learn it well.

Question 4: Why was Daddy ashamed of himself after meeting the officer?
Ans 4: Daddy was ashamed of himself because he had understood that he can’t change his mind daily and instead of changing his ambitions he should learn how to become a good human first. After that day whenever someone used to ask him what he wanted to become he used to sya that he want to become a good human and he noticed that no one laughed at him.
Question 5: What did Daddy finally decide to be when he grew up?
Ans 5: The officer made him realize his mistake and he decided that first of all he will learn to become a good human being.

Ans: Little children keep changing their mind every now and then because they are too small and their mind is quite unstable. Random thoughts keep coming to their mind, They easily get attracted to new and exciting things.
